Ani DiFranco has extended her ongoing tour in support her latest album, ¿Which Side Are You On?.
The veteran singer-song-writer will return to Massachusetts for a show
Boston’s Wilbur Theatre on Tuesday, November 13. Tickets for the show

Which Side Are You On?, DiFranco’s seventeenth studio album and follow-up to 2008′s Red Letter Year, debuted at #26 on the Billboard 200 after its release in January. Co-produced by DiFranco and her longtime collaborator Mike Napolitano, the album was recorded over a series of sessions in 2010 and 2011 at Bogalusa, Louisiana’s renowned Studio In The Country, Brooklyn, New York’s Brooklyn Bridge Studio, and her own New Orleans home studio, The Dugout. The title track is a revised version of the 1931 Florence Reece song “Which Side Are You On?”, which was popularized by Pete Seeger. Seeger also provides accompanying vocals and banjo on the track.
“I’m testing deeper waters with the political songs on this album,” DiFranco said in a press release. “I feel a little bit frustrated, politically desperate… I guess I’ve been pushing my own boundaries of politics and art. Seeing what people have the ears to listen to. How big is my mouth? What can I get out of it successfully?”
