she should explore a new genre of music on her next record.
Everyone's approaching her and said that she was going to do a rock album. Maybe that'll be now, because everyone's approaching her about it.
Mary is no stranger to rock music. She collaborated with U2 for her version of One and has covered other hit rock songs.
She was 41-year-old star, performed Whitesnake's Here I Go Again for Rock of Ages and finds it easy to identify with such passionate tracks.
"The energy in rock 'n' roll is the energy in my music. I deliver strong emotions," she explained. "Every interview I do everyone's asking me, 'Am I going to a rock 'n' roll album?'
"Of course I did a song with U2 and covered some Led Zeppelin stuff."
Rock of Ages also stars Tom Cruise, Julianne Hough, Alec Baldwin and Russell Brand.
