The new single “Flower” had its music video premiere and it is one sexy black and white piece. Kylie Minogue
is not new to the territory; each and every lead single off her albums
within the last decade came with a punch.
Hot pants, double-sided tape, half-naked men, a pile of bodies dressed
in white, Kylie has done it all. It is pleasing, however, to hear this
fantastic new ballad representing her 25-year compilation The Abbey Road Sessions, which will be released within the month of October in the UK, Mexico and Canada, and on November 6th in the US
The music video was directed by Minogue herself and the punch here is not her sensuality, but the subtlety of the cinematography alongside the track’s sweet lyrics. The single and the album are a great project not only to celebrate an amazing career, give back to fans, and even introduce herself to yet a younger audience, but to showcase vocal range and see classics under a different light.
