Nick Cannon says the whole feud between his wife, Mariah Carey, and her
fellow “American Idol” judge Nicki Minaj is getting a bad rap.
When questioned by E! News Saturday during his hosting stint at the Safe Communications 1st Annual Family Day in Santa Monica Saturday, Cannon said he “wasn’t concerned” over Minaj’s supposed threat to “shoot” his better half.Our life is full of struggle.The world is a theater.
"That's exactly what you called it was drama,” Cannon, who turned 32 Monday, told E! “With drama, it's theatrics. I'm not worried about that stuff."

Carey, however, seemed to be worried enough for the both of them, telling “The View’s” Barbara Walters last week that she was hiring extra security.
Tensions between the two divas exploded last Tuesday during the taping of “American Idol,” when Carey’s repeated barbs set Minaj off into a profanity-laced tirade.
“She said that when Nicki walked off the set, multiple people heard Nicki say, ‘If I had a gun I would shoot the bitch,’” Walters said during Thursday’s telecast of her show.
As the Daily News’ Confidential reported, Minaj has a history of threatening to shoot rivals: the 29-year-old super-star put out a lyrical hit on fellow rapper Remy Ma in a 2008 freestyle rap.
